John and Luke, Primos, PA

Hello from Primos, Pennsylvania, USA! I'm John Dancy and the fellow pictured above is Luke Skywalker at 5 years and 8 months young.

Foremost, thank you all for creating and maintaining this fantastic resource; Newf World! I sincerely wish that I had known about this site back on Father's Day, June 20, 2004, when Luke SkyWalker came to live with me.

Where to begin? Luke was born on March 15, 2004 to a local breeder and shortly thereafter became a part of my Family. The Family grew and at one point included two adults, six kids, four dogs, and three cats. Times change and people change and today, it's just Luke and I occupying a 120 year old, 3100 square foot twin Victorian in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

Since this is the Welcome Wagon (introduction thread), I'll stop here and just fill up all of the other forums with my Landseer questions and comments. If I haven't covered everything in my introduction, I'm open to answering questions too There really doesn't seem to be anything that you kind folks haven't covered since this forum began in ... 2002? Wow. That's a nice long continuous run. Save as you go, back up often, upgrade as needed.

I don't know where Primos is, but if you're in the suburbs of Philadelphia we're practically long distance neighbors. I live near Reading, Pa. My dog "Chumley" is also a Landseer. He's almost 7 months. Luke is beautiful...

http://maps.google.com/ says that we're no more than an hour and twenty minutes away from each other. This is smidgen of a cruise for a car Guy like myself.

I only know of ONE dog park in Philadelphia, and would be glad to host you and your Newf there or at my home in Primos, if you're ever in either area. If you bring anything smaller than a minivan, then we'll take my car; a Lincoln Mark VII.
