Jelly has slowed down
Jelly has slowed down lots over the last few weeks and is some times very stiff but most of the time she seems happy and is always keen to go for walk but not far she is tripping over a lot more now and gets very clued up eyes witch Pluto cleans for her.

Tarka is the ear cleaner in this house, whether Tia wants it or not!!! LOL
Jelly sounds like Tia, a nice stroll does wonders but we go at her pace and she lets us know when it's time to turn back - she just refuses to go any further!!! She has supplements for mobility but they can only do so much and l think they are losing the battle a little bit BUT she is still very happy and content with her lot and that's what counts.

Oh i have just been watching Braggen cleaning Braes ears, she sort of angles her head side ways, like she really really enjoys the special attention.
Then wee Buddy steps in and it all stops, much to Braes dissapointment!!  How old is Jelly?

I know it's hard to watch our kids slow down... but it is nice to see the others help "care" for them

Jelly is ten she came to us three years ago as rescue with her litter sister who we re homed but no one wanted jelly so she stayed with us and until recently has lived life to the full with the boys and the other rescues that pass throe on there way to new homes .
She has been having joint care supplements for the last three years because prier to her coming to us she and her sister had been in kennels for six months and had not had much exercise but within a few weeks she was walking the two miles round the village with the boys and loving it, she is now on rimmerdal witch does seem to work but after a few weeks we have to load the does up for a few days and then lower it again but even this is starting to have no effect now but she did have a play with Pluto today and i think he knows that he is to be careful with her when they play.
